Our sweet, chubby boy…
He is starting to giggle, reach for toys, and show his personality. I am busy and blessed! 🙂
Have a lovely end to your week!
8 weeks old already, and growing like a weed 🙂 He just had his 2 month checkup and has more than doubled his weight. What can I say, he loves to eat 🙂 So these pictures come a bit late, but I love seeing how much he has changed already!
It was so easy and fun to take his pics because he happened to be a sleepy baby 🙂
We just think he is so adorable 🙂
He couldn’t be loved more, and we are so grateful for the blessing of another child!
The announcements…
A couple more to finish up.
Have a great rest of the week! I absolutely can not believe school starts so soon! 🙂
You all know what a blessing good friends are! And these are our good friends, Jason and Karolyn, and their beautiful girls. It was a chilly afternoon when we took these, but they were all so cooperative.
Karolyn had made their pretty dresses, and they all matched so well!
It all started with these 2 🙂
A card…
Thanks for asking me to take your pictures, Jason and Karolyn! It’s great having you as friends 🙂
Have a good week, all!
I still have a few families from last year that I wanted to share. Meet Dale’s sister and her family. We farm together, so we see each other pretty much. In fact, we lived beside each other in a double house for over 2 yrs. Our children were practically siblings. They played and fought well together 🙂 This fall they moved into a home up the road, but the meadow from the farm runs right behind their home, so that is where the pictures were taken. We didn’t get many with everyone looking, simply because my sweet children and the dog turned it into a bit of a circus 🙂
I took a few shots of the boys. They were dressed so cute!
And a few of the lovely family…
The family is God’s greatest masterpiece.- Unknown
Thanks for asking me to take your family photos, Randy and Diana! Next time we’ll try not to bring the wild crew along 😉
Since Christmas is over, I want to share a few sessions I did this fall. Meet the Troyers. Their outfits went together so well, and the sun was golden.
And these 2 boys were just so cute! Loved their sweet grins!
Well, one of them may have grinned more than the other 🙂 But the little man was cute even when he wouldn’t smile 🙂
Like I said, so adorable!
I enjoyed capturing your family, Wendell & Edith. Thank you!
From our family to yours. May you be blessed with a wonderful Christmas! And I’m including some other pictures from our little photo shoot(s) on our farm.
And this is how they cooperated 🙂
Oh well, love them anyway 🙂
One more card..Thank you to all my readers who visit this little space, leave comments, and encourage me in so many ways. I appreciate each and every one of you!
I have been blessed with so many sweet nieces and nephews, and it is a privilege to photograph them! These 3 are on my husband’s side of the family.
Alisha is 1/2 yr. older than Kirsten, and they are the best of friends. I remember when they were little, how they would fight sometimes 🙂 Times have changed, and I’m so glad they have each other, because after them came the wave of boys 🙂
Alisha, you are growing up into a beautiful young lady!
Next in line, Zachary.
We call him Zac, and he loves to tease 🙂 Love that grin, Zac!
And last is Brandon. I won’t say his nickname. It would embarrass him 🙂 He and Zac are 11 months apart. Yes, their momma had her hands full when they were little 😉 My boys love to be together with them!
Brandon, your smile is terrific!
Like I said, I am a blessed aunt 🙂
I hope your weekend went well, and your week ahead is even better 🙂
I hear a slight thud as her feet hit the floor. And then the shuffle of little feet that I know are headed my way. She slips into bed and snuggles up to my warmth. “Good morning Mommy!” Yes child, it is morning, but too early. “Go back to sleep” I say. She’s a mess, this child. Last to bed, 1st to rise. And she always seems to know when my alarm is going to go off, because she crawls in right when I want to get up. And if I do manage to get her back to sleep, she always seems to know that Mom’s not in bed anymore. Some mornings I cringe about her cheerful, early bird self, but some I just don’t care. Because I know far to soon for my liking, she won’t need those morning snuggles.
Today, she turns 4.
This girl is such a bright spot around here! She is sassy, energetic, adventurous, bossy, kissable, curious, and too smart for her britches 🙂 I really see her going places someday. If, God willing, she uses her traits for something good.
The way she acted in the womb should have warned me 😉 And my labor with her was so unlike the others. The others were 5, 6, and 11 days late. With her, I went in for a checkup 2 wks. before my due date, and with all the contractions I had been having (normal for me), my midwife thought it best to check things out. And then I hear,” You’re 7cm! Your baby will be here today!” I think my jaw hit the floor 🙂
To make a long story short, she only came 3 days later, and that was with a little help. She was 11 days early. Feisty from the get go 🙂 She keeps us on our toes, quite literally. And we don’t get bored 🙂
We are so grateful God gifted her to us! And we love her so very much!
We did these on a beautiful fall evening here on our farm. It was a very quick session, with a race against the setting sun, but the children were so great.
First, the little doll. What an adorable chunk she is 🙂
Next, this little guy was not getting his picture taken, until all of a sudden, he turned into Mr. Smiles 🙂 He is such a handsome little guy!
And the oldest of the 3, and such a great older brother. Love his grin!
And then we did some very quick snaps of the family, because documenting these fleeting moments is so important! This was the one that got the nicest 🙂
Happy Tuesday, friends! Hope your day is going well! I’m taking advantage of this rainy day to edit photos, and do some office work 🙂
Until next time…
