Darian Kent

8 weeks old already, and growing like a weed 🙂 He just had his 2 month checkup and has more than doubled his weight. What can I say, he loves to eat 🙂 So these pictures come a bit late, but I love seeing how much he has changed already!

It was so easy and fun to take his pics because he happened to be a sleepy baby 🙂IMG_6003_edited-1 IMG_6006_edited-1 IMG_6007_edited-1We just think he is so adorable 🙂IMG_6009 IMG_6012_edited-1 IMG_6014_edited-1He couldn’t be loved more, and we are so grateful for the blessing of another child!IMG_6043_edited-1The announcements…d1_edited-1 dk2A couple more to finish up.IMG_6018_edited-1 IMG_6049_edited-1Have a great rest of the week! The Goods

I still have a few families from last year that I wanted to share. Meet Dale’s sister and her family. We farm together, so we see each other pretty much. In fact, we lived beside each other in a double house for over 2 yrs. Our children were practically siblings. They played and fought well together 🙂 This fall they moved into a home up the road, but the meadow from the farm runs right behind their home, so that is where the pictures were taken. We didn’t get many with everyone looking, simply because my sweet children and the dog turned it into a bit of a circus 🙂

I took a few shots of the boys. They were dressed so cute!diana and randy 2015 009_edited-1 diana and randy 2015 011_edited-1 diana and randy 2015 013_edited-1diana and randy 2015 106_edited-1And a few of the lovely family…diana and randy 2015 058_edited-1IMG_4325_edited-1 IMG_4362_edited-1The family is God’s greatest masterpiece.- Unknown

Weiler siblings

I have been blessed with so many sweet nieces and nephews, and it is a privilege to photograph them! These 3 are on my husband’s side of the family.

Alisha is 1/2 yr. older than Kirsten, and they are the best of friends. I remember when they were little, how they would fight sometimes 🙂 Times have changed, and I’m so glad they have each other, because after them came the wave of boys 🙂1 2 Carla's children Oct. 2015 002_edited-1Carla's children Oct. 2015 044_edited-1 Carla's children Oct. 2015 050_edited-1Alisha, you are growing up into a beautiful young lady!

And last is Brandon. I won’t say his nickname. It would embarrass him 🙂 He and Zac are 11 months apart. Yes, their momma had her hands full when they were little 😉 My boys love to be together with them!Carla's children Oct. 2015 024_edited-1 Carla's children Oct. 2015 025_edited-1 Carla's children Oct. 2015 026_edited-1 Carla's children Oct. 2015 029_edited-1 Carla's children Oct. 2015 035_edited-1Brandon, your smile is terrific!

Like I said, I am a blessed aunt 🙂

I hope your weekend went well, and your week ahead is even better 🙂

Our birthday girl

I hear a slight thud as her feet hit the floor. And then the shuffle of little feet that I know are headed my way. She slips into bed and snuggles up to my warmth. “Good morning Mommy!” Yes child, it is morning, but too early. “Go back to sleep” I say. She’s a mess, this child. Last to bed, 1st to rise. And she always seems to know when my alarm is going to go off, because she crawls in right when I want to get up. And if I do manage to get her back to sleep, she always seems to know that Mom’s not in bed anymore. Some mornings I cringe about her cheerful, early bird self, but some I just don’t care. Because I know far to soon for my liking, she won’t need those morning snuggles.

Today, she turns 4. IMG_4998 IMG_5000_edited-1 IMG_5002 IMG_5011_edited-1 This girl is such a bright spot around here! She is sassy, energetic, adventurous, bossy, kissable, curious, and too smart for her britches 🙂 I really see her going places someday. If, God willing, she uses her traits for something good.

The way she acted in the womb should have warned me 😉 And my labor with her was so unlike the others. The others were 5, 6, and 11 days late. With her, I went in for a checkup 2 wks. before my due date, and with all the contractions I had been having (normal for me), my midwife thought it best to check things out. And then I hear,” You’re 7cm! Your baby will be here today!” I think my jaw hit the floor 🙂

To make a long story short, she only came 3 days later, and that was with a little help. She was 11 days early. Feisty from the get go 🙂 IMG_5015_edited-1IMG_5017_edited-1She keeps us on our toes, quite literally. And we don’t get bored 🙂IMG_5051_edited-1 IMG_5037_edited-1 IMG_5012We are so grateful God gifted her to us! And we love her so very much!

Martin children

We did these on a beautiful fall evening here on our farm. It was a very quick session, with a race against the setting sun, but the children were so great.

First, the little doll. What an adorable chunk she is 🙂 misc., Karla's kids, Sept. 2015 066_edited-1 1 2Next, this little guy was not getting his picture taken, until all of a sudden, he turned into Mr. Smiles 🙂 He is such a handsome little guy!misc., Karla's kids, Sept. 2015 085 misc., Karla's kids, Sept. 2015 077_edited-1 misc., Karla's kids, Sept. 2015 074_edited-1 4 3And the oldest of the 3, and such a great older brother. This was the one that got the nicest 🙂misc., Karla's kids, SeptHappy Tuesday, friends! Hope your day is going well! I’m taking advantage of this rainy day to edit photos, and do some office work 🙂

Until next time…
