I'm about to be vulnerable here. So if you can't handle that, keep scrolling 😊 I was cleaning the girls' room last week, and felt the sudden urge to take a few photos. I wasn't dressed nice. In fact, I had some of my most stretched and threadbare clothing on 🙈 But it just felt like a good thing to do. Now here is why I said I am being vulnerable. I almost didn't share the photo. Because I pick apart every thing about myself that I don't want others to see. In fact, that is why I don't show myself here very often. Too many flaws. Not thin enough. Not stylish. Not pretty. Etc. And then, my head covering. As much as I believe it is right for me to wear it, sometimes I worry about what others think. Will they think I am different? Not relatable? And I don't always like the questions, or the glances. At the age I am now, I thought I would be all comfortable with myself, and have it all together 😉 But I don't. I also realize this truth. God created each of us uniquely!! And this is me. A Christian mother and wife. A farm woman. Simple. Common. Flawed. And on this photo, it's me and my son, having a moment together. She lost her 1st tooth the other evening, after running into her brother. He loves giving the moomoos feed 😊 This was just him playing, but isn't it amazing what little ones can do if we allow them the opportunity?
