Be Blessed Today

A song that is so uplifting. I hope today if you are going through a tough time or just need encouragement, you will listen and be strengthened for your day.

I am packing, cleaning, washing, and adding a bit of worry to the mix 🙂 Trying to tie up loose ends. Haiti, here we come 🙂 I’m gonna miss my people!

Is it bad that I have to go back  1 1/2 yrs. to find a decent photo of hubby and I?? 🙂022july 2014 060_edited-120150125_164459Her cousin combed her. 1. There are never photos of the photographer! 🙂 Hope you have a wonderful trip. I’m sure your people at home will be just fine. Aren’t they always despite out worrying? 🙂

  2. This is a beautiful song. I found it while reading another blog, then saw it here, too, so I think God wants me to get the message! Kari has such a wonderful voice, and the words are so soothing. I am sure you face this trip with much trepidation, but God just gave me a verse earlier today, and it comforted me. I pray it will minister to you the same way. “…be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.” I Chronicles 22:13 The words, “dread not”, really stood out to me. So often we dread things that never even happen. To be dismayed is to be “terrified”. I have fought so many battles with fear…it has consumed such a big portion of my life, and I can vouch for the Scripture that “fear hath torment”. But, I just pray today that God will give you the comfort and reassurance you need to know that all will be well while you are gone, you will be safe, you will come back home happy and at peace, and you will truly enjoy this time with your sister. He is with you…wherever you go…wherever you are…at all times. He is within you, and He is your all in all. As Zachary often reminds me, “Mama, you just have to trust. T.o R.ely U.pon Strong T.ruth. I am praying for you!

  3. Have a safe trip. What a wonderful time to go, and I’m sure the cows will miss you! But maybe the feeling won’t be mooo-tual. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

  4. Praying that your trip goes well! I am listening to the song right now, although I am not in a “valley” right now, it’s still a blessing. I love her music. Thank you for sharing!
