It’s strawberry season around here, and we are loving all things strawberry π If only they lasted a little longer!
Strawberry jelly ready for the freezer.
I made a pie and there was 1 slice left π This is the recipe we like :
1 1/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
2Tbsp. cornstarch
Cook together till thick and clear. Add 1 3 oz. pack of strawberry jello. Cool slightly and add sliced strawberries. ( I use approximately 1 qt. ) Pour into prepared crust.
I take the easy route and buy a ready made crust π This recipe says to bake it at 425 degrees for 8 min., and cool before adding strawberry mixture.
Jenna needs to be told when she had enough π
We’ve also enjoyed strawberry shortcake, strawberry milkshakes, and fresh strawberry danish. YUM!
